A house and a garden to share
The house is a wooden beach house with three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a large open kitchen and a covered terrace with hammocks. It stands in a private garden with fruit trees, and the calm Golfo Dulce beach is 50 m away.
The garden is part of the forest: scarlet macaws, toucans, sloths, monkeys and iguanas live around the house. It is wonderful to watch, and worth knowing if your pet is curious.
Travelling to Costa Rica with a pet
Entering Costa Rica with a dog or a cat requires a veterinary health certificate and vaccination records, and the rules are set by SENASA, Costa Rica's animal health service. Requirements and airline conditions change, so check them before you book your flight.
In the tropics, ask your vet about tick and flea prevention before you leave.
